This webinar was recorded on June 1st, 2020. Water heaters are an integral part of most plumbing systems.  They are a vital, convenient yet potentially dangerous appliance.  Well-informed code-based plumbing & mechanical inspections are essential for public health & safety.  As such, qualified inspectors need to fully and properly understand code and safety concerns with water heater installations.  New water heater installations are perhaps more straight forward and issues easier to spot.  Replacement water heater installations or fuel/energy source conversions present new challenges.  This course will provide an overview of the UPC® as it pertains to water heaters, together with what to look for in a properly performed inspection.
