This course will provide you with Certification as a Residential Air System Designer and covers the proper design of residential forced-air system design, the most popular type of heating system in Canadian households. The course first begins with basic introductions to airflow, fans, pressures, and ducts.
Then the course teaches forced air system design requirements and design procedure in the following topic areas but not limited to:
- Layout of Duct Systems
- Airflow Rate Calculation
- Equipment Selection
- Sizing of Supply and Return Ducts
- Proper Selection of Supply and Return Registers and Grilles
